With 2022 coming to a close, the PIP Metro Indy team is grateful we were able to overcome the challenges the print and signage industry threw our way. From increased tradeshows to coming up with creative project solutions, PIP Metro Indy has worked hard this quarter to exceed our customers expectations of our services. Here are the top 4 industry trends on the horizon for Q1 of 2023:
1. Direct Mail Has Large Impact
Direct mail is a great way to reach new audiences and customers, and PIP Metro Indy helped countless customers utilize the latest USPS updates to their advantage. Between larger postcard sizes, non-profit postage pricing, and updated address databases, now is a great time to take advantage of the power of mail. If you don’t have a list (either your own database or a purchased list), we can also help with EDDMs — Every Door Direct Mailing — that allow you to reach your target audience by zip code and several other parameters. This is a reasonably priced way to target a large group at once to promote your products or branding. 2. Promotional Products Delays Lessening
The delays in turnaround times for promotional products are slowly shrinking. This means you can get high-quality branded materials to hand out to employees or customers in the shortest turnaround times since late 2019. That is not to say every product is moving quickly, but a large majority of commonly purchased products have noticeably shorter production times. We’re excited to see how our customers utilize promotional products to promote their brand into the new year. 3. Allocations and Inventory Returning To “Normal”
We’re excited to share that many of our allocations have been removed, and we are now able to purchase more stock options with shorter delivery times. Now, that’s not to say that everything is always in stock when we are looking for your quotes, but it is a huge step in the right direction. This allocation lift allows us to keep more “house” stock options on hand to better suit your projects on tight timelines, like we were able to do pre-2020.
