PIP Metro Indy is excited to offer Direct-To-Fabric (DTF) Heat Transfer Film that you can use to customize items lie t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, sports uniforms and so much more! With no order minimums, these are the perfect for both small and large orders of custom prints for all fabric applications. These are single-sided with a white ink underlay so your designs show up clearly even on dark-colored fabrics.
Ready to apply your transfer to your product. Here’s a short and simple list of application instructions from the manufacturer:
- Grab a standard household iron or a heat press.
- Set Temperature: Cottons or Blends: 300-325 degrees Fahrenheit / 100% Polyester: 260-270 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre-pres your garment for 5-10 seconds to eliminate moisture and wrinkles.
- Position the DTF on your garment in the desired location and cover with either parchment paper, a pillowcase, a thin towel or other thin fabric.
- Heat press the DTF for 10-15 seconds.
- Remove your fabric covering and allow the transfer to cool, but do not yet remove the film.
- Cold peel: allow the transfer to fully cool before removing the film.
- As there is no more film covering the transfer, place your parchment paper/pillowcase/thin towel/other fabric back on top of the design for an addition 10-15 seconds.
- Remove your covering to finish.
